In an effort to showcase our design,
machining, and assembly abilities, Peters Manufacturing has developed,
in house, a Complete High End Air Bearing Turntable System including external
drive and silent air station. The plinth is machined of solid granite
and weighs 65lbs. The platter is also machined granite. It weighs
20lbs and rides on a zero play, ultra high precision air bearing.
This air bearing provides a frictionless, zero contact, rotational axis.
Mating this bearing to the inertia-strong granite platter provides world
class speed stability with zero rumble. |
